Straight Up Approach to Finding One Way Last Minute Flights
So I’m guessing you’ve probably heard from a friend or someone else that if you can, you should try and take advantage of potential one way last minutes flights if they’re available.
Well let me be the first to tell you, finding these flights can take time and are dependent on a lot of different variables. The big question on most peoples minds however is are one way
Now I’ve spent a lot of time researching cheap flights, reviewing a lot of difference online travel agents and other resources and only on a couple of occasions have I been able to come across 2 one way flights being cheaper then returns.
If on the other hand, you’re not looking to purchase a return flight, the good news is there are some solid resources you can use to find some cheap one way last minute flights.
Don’t use expedia.com! If it’s last minute you’re looking for then I suggest not to use a site like Expedia. Most of the prices they gather are grossly overpriced. If I could make the best suggestion it would be to go straight to lastminute.com and run a search. If you’re also looking for hotel stay, give them a shot as well. 50% of the time, you won’t be able to find a cheap last minute package, but if anything you should be able to come across some pretty good deals with your flights.
What About Timing?
Not such a big deal, if anything a fair portion of the population tend to cancel their flights at the last minute during holiday periods for some specific reason. If you think about it, during the most busiest time of the year, it’s more than likely that a large percentage of families have a change of heart and decide to cancel their vacations due to financial reasons.
So to summarize, if you’re looking for some cheap one way last minute flights, go straight to lastminute.com and run a search immediately. If nothing pops up right away, give it a week before running a new search. Repeat this process until you come across a price that is suitable for you. Stick with it and don’t pay more than you should.
Best of luck!
