Is it really possible to find cheap flights to Madrid? The answer like any other destination is of course yes, you just need to know where to look. If you’re thinking about heading out to see a travel agent, think again. The only opportunity to find cheap flights to Madrid exist online.

The first place should you check out is expedia.com. Type in where you’re leaving from and the destination you’re traveling too, obviously Madrid!

Now the chances of finding cheap flights goes up with the popularity of the destination you are traveling too and considering that Madrid is a major travel destination, if you book early enough, you’re most likely going to come across some good deals.

I just ran a search for the middle of March which is approximately 2 weeks from the time of this post and was able to find a roundtrip flight from New York for as little as $594 flying with Jet Airways. Now in contrast I ran a search for the start of April and noticed that the price immediately went up by another $50 for the cheapest flight.

The reason being of course that we’re moving towards summer and of course flights are going to go up tremendously as you push closer to summer.

I decided to run a search for the start of June and low and behold the cheapest flight I was able to find was over $1000 from New York. My recommendation would be to attempt to travel to Spain around mid April.

That will be your best opportunity to find cheap flights to Madrid and from experience April and May are the best times to take in the sites of this amazing city.

I recommend flying Delta for the best price and service.
